People are saying ...

I've had massage done on 3 different continents and by literally dozens of massage therapists and Rachel is by far the best massage I've ever experienced. To say that she is good at what she does is like saying Jerry Rice was good at catching a football. You will be amazed at how much better you will feel after Rachel does her magic. I've been seeing her weekly for more than 2 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. You will be hooked after the first 5 minutes.

I feel so lucky to have found Rachel! Her immense knowledge of this work and clear care for the whole individual have bettered my mental and physical health in so many ways. I've had consistent back/shoulder/neck issues and a lifelong mental health journey, and Rachel has listened carefully to all of my concerns and addressed them with care. She has my gratitude and highest praise!

Rachel is an amazing massage therapist! I've been a client (and fan) for several years. Rachel has successfully dealt with my chronic issues as well as the odd things that pop up from time to time. She's thoughtful and considerate. She's up to date on everything - and if she doesn't know something, she'll find out. She's strong and knows how to target the problem spots - she really knows how to work out the kinks - without neglecting the rest of the body. She also has a YouTube channel with tons of useful info. I don't know how I'd get along without her - massage is a necessity, not a luxury, and Rachel is The Best.

Rachel Richards to me is the BEST massage therapist out there. I broke my ankle in October. Rachel has helped to break up the scar tissues and has helped with both legs with her therapeutic massages. There is nothing that Rachel doesn't know about the body.

- Sue A., Yelp review

I have been a massage client of Rachel Richards for over 6 years. Rachel is a phenomenal massage therapist, the best I've ever been to. She is extremely knowledgeable about the systems and structures of the body and combines that knowledge with amazing insight and intuition in finding and treating problem areas. She can dig in when needed, but she is often very subtle in her touch, knowing when less is more to release tension and treat pain. Rachel has helped me enormously over the years, treating chronic neck and back tension, a badly sprained ankle, and most recently before and after shoulder replacement surgery. Added to that, she's a lovely, intelligent, and caring person!

At the age of 84, I've had many massage therapists over my life, but no others since I found Rachel nearly 15 years ago. None needed! She is by far the most knowledgeable and effective of any of my previous therapists. She knows exactly what to do to make my body function better and feel better, and in addition she teaches me tactics to make myself better. I cannot recommend her more highly!

I have been seeing Rachel for several years for a variety of chronic musculoskeletal issues. I seem to have a knack for finding ways to injure and aggravate myself, but Rachel has been extraordinarily helpful in helping me better manage my pain and stress levels. Just knowing that I have an upcoming appointment helps calm down my body and mind. Rachel has also been very helpful in recommending various stretches and methods to stay limber and to hopefully avoid pain setting in. I highly recommend her!

Rachel has genuinely magic hands (magic backed by intuition and skill and attention and care and experience). She has tracked and helped alleviate my chronic pain giving me tools at home and providing relief that has improved my quality of life tremendously. I could not recommend working with her more highly.

Going to Rachel was like a breath of fresh air. No airs, no nonsense. She listened to my concerns and conducted a massage that addressed all my pains. I felt fitter for days!

- Michele Lent, Yelp review

I had never been much of a believer in massage therapy until I met Rachel. I only started to see her because my boyfriend is a big massage enthusiast, and bought me a session to work out some knots I'd developed from having an office job. Now I'm hooked.

She is intuitive, knowledgeable and I trust her fully to work her magic to fix whatever problems I may be harboring deep inside of my web of tissues and muscles. Sometimes when she's working on me, I actually start to wonder if she can read my mind. She knows where to work on, she knows how hard to work on it, and she knows when to let up when it's a bit too painful. She has helped me fix problems I was aware of, and become aware of problems I didn't know I had. She gives me exercises to help me relieve tension and strengthen muscles that have been atrophied due to poor posture or a pronated gait.

She is also warm and thoughtful, and always very pleasant to see. I should also mention that my boyfriend, the massage addict, lists her as the top massage therapist he's ever had (out of close to 100 that he's seen in his life). oh yeah, and I like her massage music choices too (I'm a snotty musician). Rachel is AMAZING!!!!

I have been seeing Rachel for several years. In the beginning, I tried several masseuses, but Rachel is the best I have found. In addition, I have begun to see the benefits of having frequent massages. You can really feel the difference in your overall health when you make massage a regular part of your life. My wife Sue has also become Rachel's client. Rachel is highly-skilled and versed in many techniques. She seems to know what needs to be tweaked and how hard to do it. Add on the fact that she is a delightful and warm person, and you really cannot miss.

I've been seeing Rachel for a few months now, primarily because I just want to physically relax. See her more than once, and you'll experience that Rachel's techniques span a wide range. Depending on how you're feeling, where you're aching and what she feels your body is going to respond to at that particular moment, she's got training and learning and pulls from all different modalities: swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, the list goes on. I used to think that massage was a luxury reserved for a spa day that I would *maybe* schedule once a year, however I'm seeing real benefits by incorporating therapeutic massage into my health and fitness routine. I can't recommend Rachel enough.

I have been seeing Rachel for over a year and a half. When I first began it was to treat a football injury I had sustained in high school that had only gotten worse as the years went on. Now I finally feel even. It has been a direct result of the incredible work that Rachel does. I sincerely believe that Rachel Richards massage therapy has helped keep me healthy both physically and mentally.

Rachel has been my therapist for more than two years now and it is impossible to not compare her favorably to other massage therapists. She is incredibly strong and intuitive about the human body as she is able to combine different forms of her training to provide the best outcome for any client in any given session. Two thumbs up for Rachel!

Wow, it doesn't happen too often that a massage arranged at your hotel is such high standard. Really great massage. One of the best I ever had and I had many on all my trips. You can feel she has years of experience as she really knows the body and feels the problem areas as if she can read your mind or at least your body. Recommended at the highest level. I for sure have found my therapist for while I am in the big apple. Thank you!

- Edo J., Yelp review

Rachel is wonderful. She is very strong (stronger than she looks!) and has great intuition for finding those pressure points to dig into that need releasing. She can get the job done in an hour (which I find most cannot) and she surrounds you with infectious positive energy. And then leaves you with handy exercise tips. What's not to like?

- John Coonrod, Yelp review

I have been using Rachel as a massage therapist for several years now. I always feel invigorated and relaxed when we're done!

- Adam Kriveloff, Yelp review

Thank you for a marvelous experience. It was the best massage ever. I would love for my partner to see you the next time we're back in town. I have no soreness at all. I feel great. Lighter in so many ways.

Rachel Richards is an amazing massage therapist. I had lower back issues for quite a while and Rachel got me completely pain-free with her healing hands. I feel better than in a very long time, thanks to her. I can recommend Rachel full-heartedly.

Rachel is great, she really knows how to work with your muscles to release pain and make you feel better every time. After regularly seeing her my neck and shoulder pain got really better. And she is also very nice and professional. I highly recommend her.
